Happy Summer! It may seem early, but planning for the16th Annual Northwest Glass Quest in February 2025 has already begun! We’re excited for another incredible quest.

There is an important change for the 2025 event: Glass Quest Studio has informed us that it is stepping back from large scale community projects. Marcus has decided to step out of glassblowing and go in a new direction and Mark (while close to retirement – but not yet!) will continue to create glass art. We are incredibly grateful for their beautiful glass art and creativity as well as their dedication to this event over the years – please join us in thanking them.

The Camano Island Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to finding new glass artists for the 16th Annual Northwest Glass Quest event. Please help us by spreading the word on this search and encouraging artists to contact us ([email protected] or 360-629-7136.) We have a Call for Art webpage with a form for artists to submit samples of their glass art that can be found here: https://camanoisland.org/callforartists/

Thank you for your support of this unique event, if you have any questions please reach out.  Registration for participating businesses will take place in mid-September with a deadline of Thanksgiving to sign up so be on the lookout for that information soon.

Glass Quest Studio remains open, ready to meet your glass needs. As Mark would say “It’s the hottest medium around.”

Looking forward to a wonderful quest in 2025,

PS – Keep an eye out for exciting information on the screening of a documentary that was filmed by Emmy-Award winning documentary filmmaker Georgia Krause last year. We are planning something fun in mid-September!
