After a two-year hiatus, the Studio Tour is back for Mother’s Day weekend in 2022!

This year marks the 23rd year that artists on Camano Island and Stanwood have invited the public into their studios and galleries to share their creativity and love of art and community. In that time, the studio tour has become the biggest tourist event on the Island and has attributed to a growing artist community with nearly 100 members of the Camano Arts Association.

Part of what makes the tour unique is the blend of established and new artists representing a diverse array of mediums and visual arts. From ceramics, glass, leather and wood to paintings, photography, jewelry, sculpture, and furniture.

This year, there are four new artists on the tour, including cover artist Tasha Smith. More than 24 studios featuring 30 artists and five galleries will take part in this year’s tour, including the renowned Matzke Gallery and sculpture park owned by CAA co-founder Karla Matzke.

We are all thrilled to welcome back past visitors to reconnect and are excited to invite new art lovers to what is arguably one of the most iconic studio tours in the Puget Sound region.

Because art lives on Camano Island.
