The City is initiating an action plan referred to as the Stanwood City Beautification Action Program based off of 10 years of economic and strategic planning for the City’s downtown core. The program consists of the following 5 key program elements:

· Gateway Signage and Landscaping: Beautification of the City’s Entrances

· Main Street Revitalization: Creating Pleasing Public Spaces for People to Shop and Recreate.

· Downtown Gateway Features: Downtown Entry Arch Along 88th Avenue

· SR 532 Beautification: Landscaping at Key Intersections along SR 532

· Wayfinding Signage: Continue Snow Goose Wayfinding Signs Along 271st Street and in the Hill Top Commercial District
