Visit a mountain, hang out at the beach, take a ferry ride, find a new trail, or check out a festival. For many of us, summertime and great
weather are an invitation to load our “to do” list with many more activities than we can accomplish before the arrival of fall. Just remember to include donating blood on your summer “to do” list. Summer activities can sometimes prevent donors from stopping by to donate blood. But the need for blood is constant, so please be sure to make an appointment to give blood this summer. It takes 1,000 people every day to keep our local blood supply at safe and reliable levels. It only takes an hour to donate and just think, your donation, your gift of life, will make it possible for others to enjoy this summer and many summers to come. Blood donations not only help those who’ve suffered trauma, they also help with cancer treatments, surgeries, premature babies, and others who cannot live without the support of volunteer blood donors. Please add blood donation to your summer “to-do” list and save a life. Join us in saving lives at the upcoming blood drive in Stanwood!
