St Aidan’s will be hosting a concert with the Northwinds woodwind quintet. Tickets, $20 for adults and $10 for age 18 and under, are available online at Brown Paper Tickets and at the door if seating is still available.
Formed in 2020 out of a common love of playing and sharing chamber music, the experienced and accomplished musicians of the quintet are as diverse as the instruments they play. All play in Skagit Symphony as well as various other local ensembles. Together, Northwinds has an ever-expanding and diverse repertoire that draws on various genres, all the way from arrangements of 17th century dances through works by 21st century composers–including their resident composer, arranger, and clarinetist, Barry Ulman.
