When the historic 1906 Camano City Schoolhouse asked Jack Gunter to paint a mural depicting Camano City in 1920, he enlisted the young gifted artist Zeke Collver to join the project. Together they created a twenty-four foot panorama to hang in the old fire station (1st station on Camano Island) adjacent to the schoolhouse. The unveiling will take place at 993 Orchid Rd, Camano Island (just of Chapman Rd.) We are looking forward to sharing another piece of history with our wonderful community.
