Hello March!
Hello Chamber Members,
Are you ready for Spring? Don’t forget to SPRING FORWARD this weekend – Daylight Savings begins at 2AM on Sunday March 13th. We are looking forward to longer days of sunlight, blooming flowers and some warm weather (dare we ask for it?)….
Our March Membership Meeting is NEXT WEEK on Thursday 3/17 at 11:30 on Zoom and the topic is Stanwood-Camano Past & Future. The Stanwood Camano area has both an exciting future and a fascinating past. Be inspired with presentations from FBLA students from Stanwood High School led by director of the program – George Colby. Learn about our fascinating Island history with a presentation by Fred F. Poyner IV, Executive Director of the Stanwood Area Historical Society and Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center. Register in advance to receive Zoom link.
We are taking a breath after a successful and busy Glass Quest event but we have some exciting new initiatives to share with you soon. The Welcome to Camano Island podcast will debut this spring, we have plans to install 3 additional digital kiosks on the island, and we look forward to some information packed chamber meetings.
Do you have an idea you would like to bring forward to the chamber? We are always willing to discuss and collaborate with you – let us know! Some of the best ideas come from brainstorming together.
Best Regards,
Jessica McCready
Executive Director, Camano Island Chamber of Commerce
