Whidbey Camano Land Trust

Our Mission
The Whidbey Camano Land Trust works with our community to protect, restore, and celebrate the natural habitats and resource lands that make our islands—and Puget Sound—so extraordinary.
Why We Care
It’s easy to fall in love with Whidbey and Camano Islands. From farms and forests to wetlands and shorelines, these magical landscapes offer refuge for wildlife and inspiration for people.
What We Do
Since 1984, we’ve partnered with landowners and communities to:
- Expand parks and trails
- Protect family farms and natural areas
- Restore fish and wildlife habitat
- Increase public access to beaches and open space
We conserve land to safeguard clean water and air, support local food and economies, and ensure these islands remain places of refuge—for all.
A Land Trust of Excellence
We’re a nationally accredited 501(c)(3) nonprofit and proud member of the Land Trust Alliance. Our accreditation recognizes our commitment to conservation excellence.
Inspiring Connection
We foster appreciation through publications, guided tours, stewardship events, and hands-on experiences—especially for youth. Join us and help protect the places you love.
