SCP joins teachers and parents to create a stimulating, engaging and dynamic classroom for children to explore and experience. We believe that children learn best through hands-on, play based activities. The Stanwood Cooperative Preschool (SCP) has been owned and operated by families from the Stanwood, Camano Island, and Arlington areas since 1976. Our preschool is staffed by professional teachers who work together with parents to operate a successful, stimulating and engaging classroom. Our basic philosophy is that young children learn best through hands-on activities and the social interactions of play.
