Art Lives on Camano Island!
Hello Chamber Members,
We are about to enter the final weekend of the Camano Island Studio Tour and it has been wonderful to see the island hoppin’ with visitors and lovers of all things art!
Our May Membership Meeting will be NEXT WEEK on Thursday May 19th at The Camano Island Library from 11:30-1:00 (there is also a Zoom option.) The topic is “Free Business Resources” – who doesn’t like FREE? RSVP here for the May Meeting deadline for lunch is THIS Friday May 13th.
I would like to thank all of you who supported our Shop Local Win Local Spring Selfie Challenge – it was really fun to see all the selfies come in over social media. Prizes will be awarded to winners on Friday.
We are beginning stages of planning the 25th (almost) Annual Chili & Chowder Cook-Off which will be held on Saturday November 12th. Priority registration for those who have participated in the past will open soon – keep your eyes out for it. In the meantime, we are looking for a TITLE SPONSOR of the event – if you are interested please email us for details.
If you have any questions or need anything please let us know. We are here to support you!
Best Regards,
Jessica McCready

The Stanwood-Camano Arts Advocacy Commission builds community by partnering, educating, celebrating and advocating for the arts. SCAAC is working to achieve our mission by partnering with local artists to offer high quality art education to community members of all ages, working with the City of Stanwood on public art displays, and celebrating the many talented artists in Stanwood and Camano Island. We are working to create an accessible, welcoming art center for new, emerging and established artists to show their art, teach classes and flourish in a nurturing and creative environment.
The most recent collaboration with Discover Stanwood Camano is a Digital Travel Photography Project. We are looking for photography from local artists and photographers to use in our online articles and stories.

Stilly River Mechanical
|
|
Stilly River Mechanical, Inc. is a full-service HVAC company located on Camano Island, WA. A family-owned business, we focus on the customer and provide the best service possible. Stilly River Mechanical, Inc. was founded in 2006 by Mike and Shannon Saylor. Frustrated with questionable ethics present in the HVAC industry, Mike decided to open Stilly River Mechanical in order to provide excellent customer service using business practices that reflected our hometown values. Stanwood-Camano is our home, our customers are our neighbors and friends, and we’ll treat you like that.
Our staff members are no exception to our standards of quality. They are respectful, hard-working, and efficient, but the best quality of these folks is how much fun they have. No matter the situation, they are positive. They’ll tackle any job, and do with it a smile on their faces and skip, hop, and a jump in their steps.
