Staying Cool?
Hello Chamber Members,
Hard to believe it is almost August – but the weather is certainly reminding us it is SUMMER! Please make sure to share with your neighbors that both the Camano Center and the Camano Island Library are available as cooling locations for the community.
The thought of hot chili and chowder in this hot weather might be a bit off putting but November will be here before we know it. We are very excited about the 25th (almost) Chili & Chowder Cook-Off happening on November 12th and are actively seeking a TITLE SPONSOR for the event. If you are interested in this opportunity please see this info. and contact us!
Registration for cook-off participants and other sponsorship levels can be found here. Remember due to space we are limited to 24 cook-off participants and it is first come first serve – so sign up ASAP!
Camano’s First National Night Out is next Tuesday! Community members are invited to the Vista/Madrona and Mabana stations from 6 to 8 p.m. More info here.
We are not having a member meeting in August since it is traditionally a hard time to get people to gather together due to vacation, etc. but we will be “popping in” your business this month to check in and see what you need from the chamber. We look forward to touching base with you – but in the meantime you can always reach us by phone, text, or email if there is anything we can do to assist your business.

Camano Island Yacht Club

No you don’t have to own a boat to be a part of The Camano Island Yacht Club! The Yacht Club is a fun social group of islanders who may or may not own a boat. We have many events and activities to build lasting local friendships! If you live on Camano and would like to join a great group, reach out to us via Facebook or our website.
The Camano Island Yacht Club invites friends and family to come join an afternoon of live music with Jr. Cadillac on Saturday August 13th. Good food, and libations.
Doors open at 3PM, Music and dancing 4:30-6:30 PM Bring your own chair, Picnic Dinner included in cost of ticket.

Camano Chamber Meetings & Events

Our Chamber Member meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 11:30-1:00 (January-May & October) and in the evenings June-September & November. We will not have a meeting in August.
